Clayton Under Attack
Ó2001 By Alisa M. Ben

My brother is Jeffrey Lee Ben, the 8 pound baby born on August 23rd of 1982 that I begged my parents for and prayed for every night before I went to bed.
My brother is the knobby-kneed five-year old that had the blue BMX bike that we made up songs about.  "Buckaroo-roo-roo always wrecks on his new-new bike."  For a kid this was a brilliant song, and for my brother it was one that he always asked, "Sissy will you sing my song to me?"
My brother is the little boy that would tickle my back for 100 seconds, and let me get away with only tickling his for 20 seconds because he did not know any better.  I made the rules and he obliged.
My little brother is the cute little kid I remember sleeping with until I was 13 years old.  He was my shelter during tragic times and through life's disappointments, and I was his "sissy."
My brother, Jeffrey, is the boy I remember always seeing in my father's green iron-on "Monster Truck" shirt that would never let me wear it to bed.
My brother was the heavy sleeper that fell off our top bunk when we traded in the queen-size bed for bunk beds.  He never even missed a snore.
My brother is the kicker at night that would dig his long lethal feet into my stomach and wake me up as I tried to catch my breath.
My little brother is the best friend I had for 19 years that I related to in ways that no one else could ever compare.
My brother is the amazing person that gave me support when I needed it, and helped me through life's bumps when I hit them and bottomed-out.
My brother is the lovable boy that flashed a smile your way and made your heart skip a beat.
My brother Jeffrey Lee Ben is in my heart, my spirit my world for an eternity.
My little brother that I call bubba has been taken from my life and the life of many others.  My little brother that I have grown up with has been betrayed by someone that he trusted.  My little brother Jeffrey Lee Ben, is a victim of a criminal act that this community is turning their head to.  This very community that lets a criminal walk the streets of Clayton, Oklahoma to harm and maliciously kill all hope in a good community has betrayed my dear brother, Jeffrey, and the innocence of our youth.  My beautiful brother believed in this community and in the honesty of this community.

I am pointing a finger at those of you that are keeping the truth from prevailing, and I am saying "shame on you."   I am saying shame on the community for the rumors, the lies, the betrayal, letting this blatant criminal act go without justice, for setting a criminal precedent and the wrong- doing.  I hope that every single one of you that has any knowledge of what happened to my brother on January 29th, 2001 and have kept quiet for so long experiences the devastation of what all of us that love Jeffrey have had to endure.  These criminals and accomplices of Clayton, Oklahoma have betrayed our freedom, our youth, the community, humanity, and the legal system.  I hope you live a miserable life and wake up every morning unsure whether you can continue another day.
All of you that keep quiet and all of you that know and keep us from Jeffrey are terrorists of the drug community and you know who you are.  You rape our children and steal our families by introducing them to your commune of crime.  You terrorize our communities and you monopolize our fears, but you have never stepped in this land mine.  I know who you are, and I know what you are capable of and I am not afraid.  I am here to put your crime in your face every day for you to snort it up.
I am here to tell you that you will see the end of your freedom eventually.  So enjoy the eight months of your laughing in our faces and walking the streets as a citizen of this community because we will see justice and your freedom like my brother's will be stripped and we will prosecute you for raping the community.
This has gone far enough and you have been warned.  We have pleaded.  All of you that had nothing to do with it but have withheld information are an accomplice and will be put to justice as well.  Do not think we do not know who you are because every morning that the lord affords you a new day is every morning that we are closer to finding you.  Every morning that the lord affords you freedom is every morning he shows us a new miracle.  Every morning that you think you have fooled the lord is one morning that will catch up to you and you must come face to face with your sins.  Make a difference in your life and the life of others.  Tell us what happened to Jeffrey Lee Ben, the brother of this community.
Dear friends, family, and citizens of Clayton, Oklahoma do not allow the wrongdoers to dictate this community.  Make it your resolution to find the brother of the community, Jeffrey.  Make it your goal to bring these terrorists to justice.
"America Under Attack" is what I see in National news and consider this people exactly the same as those that killed thousands of people in New York City.  Terrorists are people that use the political use of terror and intimidation.  Allowing these criminals to walk the streets of Clayton, Oklahoma is allowing them to set the precedent of crime and drug abuse as being part of the functioning lifestyle of this community.  It is allowing them to insult our intelligence and rape our community as we stand by and let them intimidate us and degrading our legal system.  Clayton, Oklahoma you are under attack by the terrorists of this community and it is up to you to respond.  They are laughing in the face of our "protect and serve" motto.  They are laughing in the face of our "Drug Free" campaigns.  They are laughing in the face of all of you that make up this community.  Most importantly, they are laughing in the face of God.  I urge all of you in the community to find my brother and show these criminals that we are not a joke and justice will be served.  Clayton, Oklahoma you have been under attack and now it is time to respond.
